Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 June 2026
1. What Aftermarc is
Aftermarc ("we", "us", "our") is a social platform for tracking, rating, and journaling the video games you play. By creating an account or using the site at aftermarc.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use Aftermarc.
2. Acceptable use
When using Aftermarc, you agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
- Post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise harmful.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
- Attempt to access another user's account or bypass our security measures.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the platform without our permission.
- Use Aftermarc for any unlawful purpose.
3. Your content
You own what you post. Reviews, journey entries, photos, tier lists, and anything else you create on Aftermarc remain yours.
By posting content, you give us a limited license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the service — for example, showing your journey entries to your followers, or your reviews on a game's page. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where copies are reasonably needed for backups or legal compliance for a limited time after.
4. Content removal
We reserve the right to remove any content, or restrict any account, that violates these terms or that we believe in good faith is harmful to Aftermarc or its users — with or without prior notice. We aim to be fair and proportionate, but the decision is ultimately ours.
5. Account termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or where required by law.
Either of us can stop the relationship at any time. There's no penalty for leaving — we just ask that you don't come back solely to evade a suspension.
6. The service itself
Aftermarc is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features — or the entire service — at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aftermarc and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post a notice on the site for significant changes. Continuing to use Aftermarc after a change means you accept the updated terms.
